A brief history of talkboxes through ages
The talkbox has run through several brands and models since it’s creation, in the late 60’s, early 70’s. Although the first commercial model was “The Bag” (1969), the first commercially sucessful talkboxes were Bob Heil’s “Heil Sound” talkbox (1971) and the Electro-Harmonix “Golden Throat” (1977). Since then, and up to this day, countless talkbox models have been released.
